Near clemson?

Just bought a 95 F150 xl 302 2wd automatic 4r70w. I'd like to find a good shadetree mechanic that really knows his ford 302s and transmissions. I never did much mechanic work and would like to get my truck checked out and gone through, the local shops give less than a damn and want to charge an arm and a leg to touch anything, I'd like to replace all vacuum lines and need help with an oil and small coolant leak around thermostat housing, want to change transmission fluid and install drain plug, just want to make sure the truck is maintained and everything adjusted like it should be by someone who takes pride in how they do stuff, I want it done right and don't want to put your kid through college lol.. I weld so maybe we can help each other out, I'm in seneca and just looking for a good honest guy who knows how to get a 302 running right and get good gas MILEAGE.

Check out out Roll Call thread for folks who are near you. Some of them might know the right guy.

I know a guy in anderson. He's a ford guy, but also a (suck in breath, hold it) toyota master mechanic. Reply to this and I'll ask him if he's interested.
