Shipping A Truck.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question. If not moderators please move to right place...Question is:Has anyone on this forum bought and sold vehicles in distant parts of the country from your home?Has anyone here have experience with shipping a truck with a carrier other than USHIP?I've used Uship numerous times over the years with good results.
With that said I bought a F350 in Wyoming and trying to get it to Tennessee.I've had it posted on Uship for over a week and getting very little response.I've come to realize Wyoming is off the beaten path to Tennessee. Are there any other company's similar to UShIP?Trying to get more visibility to get the truck shipped to me.
I might have to fly out and drive back.I would hate to have to do that.I have a plant nursery and now aint the time for a cross country trip.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks Tony

From where in Wyoming to where in Tennessee?
And what does it pay?
Does the F350 run? Is it tagged and insured to drive back?

I would look for an auto transport company that could bring it back.

Having it running is a plus so they can drive onto the flatbed and be able to move it around for various other loads on the way.

Anyone local that could run up and get it for you? Friends in the area with a flatbed?

From Dubois(82513) to Joelton(37080).Not tagged ,would be insured before a road trip.Suppose to be able to drive anywhere? But its an used truck that I've not tested.Pay?I've not got any bids...
Thanks

Yes, but .... Beware. A lot of these outfits are brokers that hook drivers up with loads. They'll promise you the moon and often fail to deliver.
I once had a small bucket truck sold on eBay. One of these companies found me a decent price to ship it about 8-10 hours away. But in reality they owned no trucks and wound up not finding anyone to take my job. So after 3 weeks of waiting, the buyer gave up and backed out of the deal. All the while this broker was promising me that someone would be there in a few days or a week at most. That day never came.

Exactly,I'm trying to stay away from the blood sucking Brokers.I've never had a problem finding a owner operator before until this move.On USHIP you can check their profile and feedback.I think my problem this time, its in the middle of nowhere...

You might consider having it driven to Cheyenne, Denver or Salt Lake and shipped from there.

I used A-1 a couple times. I bought a 68 Mustang in the middle of nowhere & had to get the seller to drive it to a shipping terminal in order to get anyone to give me a quote.

I used Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) to move a classic Pontiac from the PNW to Southern Indiana a few years back. I was totally dissatisfied with the performance of the company. I tell everyone I know to avoid them.

It cost me 800 to ship a camaro from NYC to ohio , but it cost me 355 to ship my f-450 from central NJ to NYC on a flat bed. both cases were vehicle transport companies and not USHIP or other sites.

I would not drive it back unless it was check out and fully serviced...meaning all fluids changed.
