I have a 1989 F-150 long bed all original with a new NAPA motor put in by a garage. I just put a new ehaust on it from manifolds through the tailpipe. I have a 5.0 auto od , 4X4 auto hubs133" wheelbase, new leafsprings, and new shocks. I replaced the cat. etc. In the back of my motor, I se.e what looks like a heater hose. That hose has a lugnut jammed into the end of it, and a hose clamp holding it in place. can some one tell me what this is. In putting in my exhaust, I got an air tube to use with this kit. Does anyone have a diagram that shows these parts? My new cat has a small pipe coming out of the top of it, but that that pipe is capped off with a cap. Does this attatch to something? or is it like a vent, or somewhere for heat to go. I would appreciate any and all help you can give me regarding this truck.

Thanks, From Not Rocket Science
