Thanks, well I did have a source for the bed but the dude is the biggest flake ever and kept putting me off now won't answer his messages. I hope he dies of *** cancer at this point. I've even offered to take his bed off myself because he said he was working a lot and didn't have the time. Been 3 weeks now and I've moved on. I hate depending on anybody to do what they say they will do which is probably why I've learned to do so many things myself. Everybody talks few actually do.

Yesterday I took the wheels and tires to Walmart to get them mounted up. Mount and Balance on those big boys only ran $39. Below is the work from today. I just keep finding more and more rust but it isn't going to be a high dollar truck so puddy is my buddy for now. I have to go pick up a bed a couple hours away tonight so short and sweet.

For sure it's some work but it's coming along and decent pace.

I ordered that lift that you linked and installed it last night. The pieces are nice, but I have to warn you that you may have to make some adjustments to the instructions. The rear is straight forward, no problems. If you do one side at a time its much easier. I also re-used my u-bolts and they held 150ft lbs easily. I dont foresee issues there. The front, the directions tell you to discard the isolator but on mine if I did that then the stud extension was too tall. I had to leave it in. Also, the concave washer that holds the spring in place wouldnt touch the spring when installed. I called summit and the guy there told me to flatten that washer and install it. Thats what I did and I drove it 100 miles last night. All seems well so far.

Didnt mean to thread jack, just wanted to give a heads up. Great progress so far. I also wanted to ask, what are you doing for headlight bulbs? I dont guess you are using '00 bulbs so what did you do to fit different bulbs? Ive got 07 lights and bulbs on my '99 right now.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you post any pics yet? I've actually installed the front leveling kit on my last cummins F250 2wd build and I do remember having similar issues you stated. As far as the camber adjustment I'm going to O-reillys at noon today to pick up the camber/caster ecentric lugs. You will have to do the same otherwise the outside of your front tires are going to wear bad and it also have a little skittish feeling in the steering. The ecentric allow you to adjust back to level. I was going to do my lift today but it started raining ice. Glad to see your coming along. As far as headlights and bulbs I ordered the pigtails for the 08-10 off Ebay and also 08-10 bulbs. The pigtails came in a pack of 4 for $10 and the headlights were $6.31 both shipped.

Thanks for the headlight info!

I have not put up any pictures yet. I did get the caster/camber adjusters. I went with the moog setup that is double adjustable and give -4+ degrees of adjustment both ways. They are kind of pricey though, $40 each.

I did the stand moog last time and almost did them this time but Oreillys had another brand called Specialty parts and I got them for $15 a piece 3+- degrees which should be more than enough. Good to hear. If you can get a pic of the front setup you could post it on this thread.

Man I hated those ugly *** chrome wheels. After you taped and painted them up they look AWESOME! I think they are going to go great on that truck and the tires will be a great fit, especially for the price It's really coming together man!!!

I agree man. I was thinking.. that is just way to much chrome and being pitted made it look even worse. The tires are pretty sweet for the price. They will work for the build and in a year or two when they wear down I will go with a more mud or all terrain but holy **** the difference in price more than doubles when you go to a mud tire thats a 22".

Worked on the bed today. I forgot to take after pics of the new cross member welded in and the underside of the bed coated. Oh well it looked like it was going to rain at any time all day so I was busting ***. Beds on.

Bolted the bed down and put the new tailgate on. I also started doing some of the body work today. Drivers side rear door and cab corner pretty much done.

Looks a little better than before already.
