Tires/flares/suggestions.

I have been agonizing over this for years, cannot come up with a solution. 05 F350, big lift, currently 40x15R20.
Problem is I cannot come up with a solution for tire coverage.
I originally pulled the bedsides for 2" extra coverage, rear is good. I had fiberglass fenders on the front for front coverage, but didn't like the look or quality of the fenders so went back to stock. So I have about 5" of tire hanging out each side, making a mess and I am going to get pulled over.
I could put cutouts on the truck, but the rear will look silly with them hanging out. I am not sure that I can "un-pull" the bedsides and get them back to stock.
Would the truck look silly with Bushwacker cutouts on the front and standard 2" flares on the rear? I cannot find any pics of trucks with mismatched flares.
I was also considering going with a wider/bigger tires and wheel setup so cutouts would look ok in the rear and have maybe an inch or two hanging in the front. I had 42" tires on there for a while.
Thanks,
Chris

I would go with something like a -5 on the wheels to get the tires more underneith the truck and I would just match up on all four flaires with at least a 2inch flair but I would not do a mismatch (to nice of a truck). We have no restrictions here in Michigan thank God!!!

Sorry I don't have any ideas, but your truck looks cool.

Beautiful truck! I'm in the same boat as you for width, I'm currently going from a 13.5 to a 15.5 and not sure what route I should go. I have bushwacker OE Style now but they are about 3" short of covering. I was looking and the stampede ruff rider flares that cover 2.5" but I have no idea of the quality of them.

I think cutouts might be the way to go, with you having to cut quite a bit out of the bed for the cut outs the two or so inches you pulled your bed might only be around 1" at the cut mark for flare. With the cutout flares being 5" in the front and 4.5" in the rear I think it would turn out great. Then you would have to go with a bigger tire again and that gets expensive. I'm interested in hearing what you end up doing.

I've never seen a bed pulled like that, awesome idea and execution.
