NOT MINE, I think these are cool now if you only can find a viewer. I think ND has stated in the past he has all this stuff.

You got that right on finding a suitable viewer. Ford used an odd size microfiche if I remember correctly.

I believe our local public library has a microfilm or microfiche machine. The library in Copley, Ohio probably does too.

about 12 or 13 years back i got in a trade from a ford dealer about 40 miles away a microfiche machine with the ford oval on it and all the film in trade for a coil spring tower for a 1971 ford truck, they needed the part came to me, i knew they had it, and for some dumb reason i felt i needed it, now the machine is in my garage with a trash bag over it collecting dust. oh well thats my microfiche story.

I have the 1956 Ford F100 Service Manual on slides like that. The old guy I got them from used them to print a "C" size manual for himself since he was to blind to see a regular sized manual.

I wish it was in my garage with the trash bag over it! When you are ready to sell I may be interested

that reminds me of at the cadillac gmc dealer here in town."whew" i hate to even mention that here, we had a 1988 buick century, & my wife picked it so i am off the hook, so i had to go onto foreign soil every once in awhile for parts. the parts guy also couldnt see that well, it was funny to watch where he would pull out this big ol magnifying glass to read the parts book

i do have 2 of those M/F machines, but only one has a ford oval on it, i dont know a whole lot about them, but the other one is for different size microfiche i think, that one came from a tractor dealership, kevin if you are looking for one i will keep an eye out for you, they pop up at the 2nd hand stores every once in awhile. and there usually fairly cheap. i might have some duplicate ford M/F but would have to go through all of it to see what i have.

A few years back, I bought some micro-fiches for some of my vehicles.
Then a viewer off Ebay. WARNING some of those viewers are more of a "card reader" used in libraries (or were in the past). My son got me a viewer from a Chev. dealership, which works as it should. Except when it sits in my den gathering dust.

I was told years ago that Ford viewers used a different level of magnification than most others. I have a viewer for paint mixing formulas left over from my bodyshop days. I've never tried it, since I don't have any Ford fische, but was told it won't work with them.
