driving lights
Just a friendly reminder to the vast majority of lifted 4x4 ford F250 drivers, your driving lights are just about at the window height of most vehicles on the road, please turn your damn driving lights off, when you have your hibeams on the driving lights turn off, but if you dont manually turn them off when you go to low beams your driving lights turn back on basically accomplishing nothing about blinding the person you are behind. So show a little common sense and decency and kill the driving lights

I'm not sure what you lights you are talking about when using the term "driving lights". My truck is several inches above stock height, and my low beams are aimed so as not to blind anyone. I have never been flashed for having bright lights. My fog lights aim low as well, as they should. I think that the true vast majority of people on here with lifted trucks have taken the time to aim their lights if necessary. Others simply don't have the issue. I believe it's unfair to assume that most of us driving taller trucks don't have the common sense to be courteous with our lights.

I've heard of people getting fines for running them when its not foggy out up here in canada. Fog lights driving lights same thing in my books. Although most people up here stick overpowered hids in them and drive around with a jacked up truck. That said if it doesn't bother me I don't care much but when it does I just turn on my high beams until they get the message. Properly setup lights is the key thing most people don't know or don't care enough to be informed to do that though. It's great that you can see 6 miles ahead down the road but when you blind me in my crane truck and I swerve into your Super Duty and crush you like a pop can I suppose you can at least see it coming. No offense meant to anyone that's just how I see things.

Yea I agree but 4 out of every 3 people up here are in a truck. Me included . I think maybe even the wildlife are driving too.

Yea you know what I find amusing is that they'll drop tens of thousands of dollars to put lifts on, aftermarket led light bars, big HID work lights, and then drive around with a windshield pitted so bad that a 50,000 lumen led light bar they can barely see. You know because a new windshield is so hard to come by and they are so expensive compared to the rest of what I listed.

I clipped a little wire, and now my fogs stay on even with the high beams. It's really the only way to see potholes when I need the brights, since some people live where there are no street lights....
....and if a wittle baby Prius complains that my lights are too bright on MY road, he's either lost or up to no good. Shouldn't be there anyway anyhow.
I think any HIDS over 6-7000k should be illegal. Dam ricer morons with their 8000k-10000k blue and 12000k purple BS is way worse than any halogen lamp no matter what the height. They're useless as headlights and distracting as hell.
