Understood. There are quite a few things I consider when looking at a OBS, the ratio is among them. Are you still looking for a 7.3?

Is an auto trans or manual. A lot of people, including me, will say that kind of mileage on a 7.3 would be a worry if it was maintained well and ran good. But, you have to remember that the rest of the truck has the same amount of miles on it. That's a lot of miles on the drive train, suspension, and body parts. I also agree that $8500 is too high for a truck with that mileage.

You are correct I checked the whole truck appears it was kept up well seen lots of parts that were changed out on suspension engine trans etc I'm agreeing price is high I was thinking it would be a good deal on both ends for 6500 max

If your looking to do a 4BT swap on one anyway, why not find a gas truck. Probably pick one up way cheaper than an OBS Powerstroke. The prices on these trucks have gone sky high it seems like........until I try to sell one! LOL!

Where are you located, are you willing to travel for the right truck? If so how far?

I'm in az don't really need to go out of state for a obs truck as there are a few here in town I seen another truck that has 140k on it but it's pretty beat up that's why I wanted away from it needed tons of body work suspension work interior paint etc for 9k I'd rather have the high mileage truck as it was a lot cleaner and neededway less work

I gotcha.. If your thought is to do a cummins conversion does it matter if its a 94.5-97 or can it be pre 1994.5?
