Barn Find, resting for 20 yrs,74 F250 2wd Shortbed Supercab

As found, with original owners daughter.

Day after we drove it home the night before without benefits of brakes(no pressure started working a bit after driving it some, might just need a new vacuum hose). Son washed, cut and polished a bit. No dents no dings, Had 1 professional repaint by PO and it was done right.
We are doing a 5" lift with bent beams like my last truck, till this sweet body and cab gets put on a shortened f250 4x4 frame. Motor seems to be a 390 4v/c6. ? for you guys, anyone successfully install a power antenna on one of these, is there a write up?

Why the 4wd swap? Regardless, can't wait to see it with the slots and the lift. I thought you didn't do bent beams on the blue one?

We always need at least one vehicle with 4wd that can haul stuff .we gave been without one for a few years and have missed some good trip due to that. This is also the nicest one of the 3 so it will get all the goodies. The blue one had its stick beams bent to cured the tops of the wheels sticking out further than the bottoms. Remember it also got the 1 ton diesel van coils and swaybar spacing. The 74 will get the same till the 4wd donor is deconstructed and the frame shortened.

I knew about the coils and the camber issue, but I didn't know you had them bent. How hard was that?

I took him to an old school big rig shop down by the freeway that was recommended to me because basically these are the same thing as a solid axle on the big rigs except that there's just two of them so that's how they fix the camber caster Etc on the big rigs that have solid axles, so what I did is I spent $125 and had them bend them so that camber is within like .051 degree compared to stock between them. The steerings s bit quicker only due to the tiny bit that they are shorter. Will post when I return from the parts store.

Here it is right now . We did some replacements and fluid changes.

Well here you go side by side what it'll look like once you and uplifting it like the blue one it'll get the exact same treatment for a little while and then this one's going to become again like I said the donor so that it becomes four wheel drive

I just did this swap myself and actually had to scoot the rear axle rearward, not shorten the frame. And it barely fits. You'll have to get very creative for rear cab mounts and you will have to wedge the front of the clip up high, and keep the cab rear down low for it not to look goofy and wedge accordingly. If you set the cab on the frame with no modifications, the rear of the cab hits and points downward for the supercab frame is different than a standard frame. The supercab frame resembled the full sized bronco frame.

I will be going with about a 3" body lift on the very front all said and done and the rear cab sits 1/2" above the frame.
