non OEM dually fender replacement for my 04?
anyone have any first hand experience with non OEM dually fenders (ebay, etc?) i need one asap for my 04 on the passenger side, and im having a hard time finding one on craigslist, and not really wanting to pay 950 for a new OEM one, but i do NOT want to get an aftermarket one and have issues with it not fitting PERFECTLY and looking 100% OEM. the only way i will order one from ebay etc is if someone can recommend one that fits perfectly and looks 100% OEM.
reason i need one ASAP is because i submitted an insurance claim because the tread separated and that's what caused the fender to get destroyed, and they gave me 1400 (1900, minus my deductible), so im trying to find one cheap and put it on, so they will endorse the check and give me the cash. they won't write the check directly to me as i have a loan on the truck, so it's written to me and my credit union. if i can put a fender on there and show its fixed, they will release the money to me, so i can reimburse myself, and the main thing is i want to use the extra money towards 6 new tires so this doesn't happen again!
thanks!

My experience is you get what you pay for with sheetmetal. The chineasium junk needs 2x to 3x more labor time to massage them to fit right its just not worth it. Your farther ahead with new or used OEM. This is with regards to modern and classic muscle cars. I have zero experience with SD aftermarket sheet metal. I cant imagine they are any better?
