Buying an 06 F250 with a V10

Hey I am in the market for a used F250. I decided on a V10 over a diesel. I found an 06 F250 Crew cab XLT with a V10, 4.10 gearing, and 96k miles. Everything looks in great condition and it drives nice. It does have a 4 inch lift, I dont care for, with new coil - over shocks. I can only get them down to $16385. Was hoping to get it for 15 or so. Is this a decent price for this pickup? They seem to come up with a bigger number than I do on KBB.

First of all use NADA to find your prices. The banks tend to use that over KBB. Truck sounds decent, though I may be a bit biased because mine is similar. Only things to look out for are the spark plugs, just make sure you're educated on that subject. Some people tend to stay away from lifted trucks, but if it checks out then pull the trigger! Good luck.

Yeah I did my research on plugs and exhaust manifold issues I believe. It is in better condition than any other similar pickup I have found. I have not checked NADA yet. Will do that. Thanks.

Good stuff! You might have a good deal then. Also when you go to test drive it make sure it doesn't death wobble. Had that issue with mine. Modifications to the front end sometimes causes it and in my case I had a leveling kit and unevenly worn tires. New tires fixed it. Not trying to scare ya, just trying to help you avoid any surprises!

Bought the pickup for 16200. They are undercoating it for me and clay barring the paint. Should have it in a couple days.
