Your gas is cheaper than ours. Lowest here is 2.499 IF you pay with cash. Use a debit card and they charge you the credit rate of $2.599. Ask me how I know.

Went with Aidie Cal to the annual rocket launch event in Lucerne Valley.
http://rocstock.org/rocstock/

Our first time, hand built rocket outta paper, glue and a few stickers. We even tried a night launch with a glued-on LED. After a while, the heat of the engine melts the interior and the cap won't deploy, thus the stuck landing.

...Was a lotta fun.

In pic 3, we are in position B2.

Twice a year, ROC conducts a multi-day launch called ROCstock
(you know, Peace, Love, and Rockets).
Anyway, these special weekend events feature:

wpnaes,
Were you there when the accident occurred? I just read in the paper where a man was watching his friend launch his homemade rocket and one of the rockets came down hitting him in the face killing him.

Got a new grandson yesterday. Fourth grandchild. First of the male variety, and first for our daughter. Mom and baby are doing great.

Now that's pure joy on Grandma's face. Grandpa, on the other hand, is saying 'hurry up, take the dang photo!'...

Always good to keep 'em in a tight mummy wrap. Cocoon is a safe place.

Grandson wrenching lessons on the Jeep start in 2 yrs. (Ford won't be needing anything for a while yet).

What a tragedy, our event launch lead was constantly asking us to beware and announce the deployment of a parachute or lack of.

Happy taco two for Tuesday So Cal. Hope everyone can stay warm today.

Got word from WestCare that Kar Tech has been paid for the rack and pinion replacement. So I made an appointment for tomorrow morning. The check for the tires has been turned down by Les Schwab. Apparently they did not know what it was for. So Patricia will re-submit it with the quote, which I am surprised she didn't do the first time, but oh well. I am sure it will happen, just have to wait a few more days I guess.
