Just became a 150 owner- I have some questions

So I just got a 2007 Supercrewcab Lariat 2x4 , 6 foot bed with 122,000 miles on it. It has the usual lariat stuff plus a sliding sunroof and bedliner.

I do have some questions.

It's a 5.4, how can I tel if it's flex fuel or not?

Also is there anyplace I can see what original build is by submiting a vin number?

The previous owner damaged the finish on the wheels with a corrosive cleaner. Can they be refinished or is that cost prohibitive?
Thanks

The 8th digit in the VIN denotes the engine. If it is a flex fuel it will be a "V"

If your wheels are like mine I'd say it may be cost prohibitive. In my area there are several companies that offer this service. It's worth asking such a company. In my opinion quotes are worth getting. They are nice looking wheels when properly cared for.

Congratulations on your new vehicle.
