Ford recently competed against Chevrolet, Ram, GMC, Toyota, and Nissan at the Texas Auto Writers Association's 2015 Truck Rodeo in hopes of bringing home a variety of titles, including the most desired: "Truck of Texas."

As much as I hate the look of the titan, I say that GOD someone has diesel in a 1/2 ton. Maybe Ford will pull their head out of the sand and get with it. Can you say Diesel ranger

Ram has a diesel available in their 1500. The ram is waaay better looking than the titan too, IMO.

It sounds like GM might put a little duramax in their 1/4 ton pickups as well.

Ford should definitely add a diesel as well.

The Chevrolet has a small diesel in the Canyon. Or whatever it is called. I wish Ford would build something similar to the Nissan diesel. I am in need of that power and towing capacity. I would like to keep the half ton ride for everyday driving.

Remembering back a few years, Nissan was trying establish a contract with Ram to build Titan trucks. Clearly that didn't happen. The Titan mimics the F-150 more than any other truck and all I can say is that copying is the greatest form of flattery.

Nissan is bringing a half ton beast to market, hopefully ford will answer appropriately.

Then they are also flattering Toyota by copying their ugly taillights and back end as well as Ram in the profile view of the cab.
