Thanks fellas.... Just got done with my morning toast and am headed to Menards... 11% rebate week... Bad thing is that I bought all the expensive stuff a coupla weeks ago...
Keep your eye out for used head studs on CL. I have a start of an EGR leak and while fixing that might as well put studs in. I can't believe I am giving you fellas permission to spend my money.
Maybe you just need to fix it with a newer 6.4 with hips?
Good idea Jay! Might as well find one for you as long as we are looking for Cory!

Sure is, ARP studs can be reused with no trouble at all. You can find them used for around 150 bucks versus paying over 400 for them new. I put used ones in a 6.0 I used to have.
Well, it starts with a few head studs and other misc. parts, then all of a sudden you are replacing a whole engine. After that you realize tires and rims are bad and at that point you could have been ahead by getting the newer truck.
