429

Gonna put a 429 in my 91 bronco with a c6 tranny am I gonna need to swap my axles as well?

Welcome to FTE.

I have looked at your prior posts. You have a 351W/E4OD per prior posts. You were talking 460 in your last posts and regearing in another.

Now you have a 429 in mind.

I note you are in CA. You will not be able to make a 429 smog easily. If it is an older high compression job, you will probably have to find a way to lower compression.

The same would apply with a 460. You would have to bring a compliant '91 or newer 460 will the EFI, computer, harness etc etc over to the Bronco.

Neither engine was ever OEM in a Bronco, so you will have to deal with a smog referee. Good luck with that.

Serving suggestion: Tune it up, fix your trans leak, regear if you must.

you dont have to swap axles. its just recommended.
