From the looks of the grave, and the truck in the moonlight, I think it's nickname should be Zombie. LOL. You are a glutton for punishment. Congrats on the save. I hope you saved the ramp lumber. It may be worth more than the truck.

I like that name. I think itll stick. Ya if it werent for all that lumber there i wouldnt have got the truck out as easily as we did. I plan on asking if the wood is up for adoption. I could have used those a few weeks ago on a floor i had to replace. And your right that lumber probably is worth more than the truck.
Oh ya and the moon; thats my portable yard light so i can do these Top secret missions at night. Ya nobody questions you when you light up an entire city block...
Just kidding, its a freeway light.

Good idea. The trans brake worked well. Next step. Powerwash truck and engine. Add gas and spark. Ill be driving it around the neighborhood soon. Dont worry Ill post video.
Thanks guys. It worked out much better than anticipated. All done and said we spent about 5 hrs the first sunday working on it then i went for about 2.5 hours monday night byb myself to jack it up out of the hole. Then about 3 hours last night. So not horrible amount of time. Still need to pick it up with the trailer. Hopefully at lunch since its close by.
We will see how well it runs?
And since this was a. 50/50 for profit venture we will be selling it.
I have been hanging onto a 51 cabover now for a few years for a future project but i am letting it go to since i was offered something i cant say no to. plus i likely will never get to it anyway.
It ( the 51) will be going to england soon.
I like the challenge of it but there is one problem. That truck hasn't been
moved in years - just think of all the snakes, scorpions, centipedes, spiders,
roaches, ...... Nope not happening. You are a grown man.
