I didnt notice that ether, but you know i dont want to tell him anything about changing the listing, if he changes it the price might sky rocket?? i did talk to my friend that has a farm in Gackel, ND, i told him about it and he said if i get it i could store it there till i can pick it up. but after saying all this i dont want to get my hopes up because you never know till the last minute how bad someone else might want it, i do have a merc tailgate for it, and a perfect 50 year horn button,
I hope you get it! Good luck.
Do you have a flathead to put in it?

That's purty looks like that mercury is destined to be yours. But it's eBay and the lazy second bidders are sneaky things. I looked into the importing from Canada but haven't found any solid answers. Everyone that I seen talk about it has no actual experience with bringing one in. One person says it's easy the next says it's a long pain in the rear to do it. I guess I'll have to do my own research on it.

every thing thats stude or dodge on my property is my sons stuff, except for the 37 dodge pickup, my grand father bought that in 1940, and was my part time transportation from 1978 to 79, that is the only dodge that can go in my garage, he has his own home 3/10 of a mile from my house but its still all at my house, go figure?? the ford (burma) GTB trucks had the same motor as the ford G8T trucks, a 226 CID, they had a vertical dizzy in the front not used in civilian production, the transmissions are 4 speed type,

i use to be active on a web site called yesterdays tractors that no doubt you have heard of, i use to post a lot about cotton pickers there. my name there is "jess in ca" cotton pickers is another one of my favorite subjects, i use to pick for farmers and later for myself (with newer 2 row pickers) from 1978 to 81, eventually i want to do a book on early type pickers with all the info i have collected over the years,

At least your son has a home to go to...Mine goes to......my house. At least he doesn't drag stuff home.......like I do..lol.
After I read the Ford forums, I usually head over to Yesterday's Tractors for a bit. Lots of goodie over there, for sure.
We are a long way from cotton country here....but I really like those old ones like you have. I'm getting in line now to get a copy of that book.......when you write it.
