Dear Duane, why did you leave the door open to that cold wind blowing out of the north.

 

Dear Duane after seeing the pictures of your wife on the interweb thingy-- shouldn't it be DEER Duane?

 

I wonder how we got side tracked and started posting questions for Duane in the "I wonder where they went" thread. I think I started it.

 

Dear Duane,
There is seldom a dull moment at work. Today I was on a mission, I was told by my boss to go purchase two 80" LED 4k TV's for the board room and install them on either end of the room. Then when I put on my coat, he asked me where I was going. I explained I had to go check on an ATM, I needed to go purchase the TV's, and I needed to purchase an inner tube for his hover board. He said, "before you do that I need you to help me move a tanning bed and put it together" (at one of our bank employee's house)
The problem with my story isn't so much a problem, but at no point in my mind did I think this was what being a banker was about. I am not complaining, because I enjoy the projects, and it gives variety. All I am saying is it makes life interesting!

 

Wait. Your boss has a hoverboard?

 

yep, keeps it at the bank. Tells us he did the research and paid extra for one that won't burn up the bank. Somehow this seems legit, because its very well built, and much nicer than others I have seen on the market. He lets kids ride it through the lobby. so.. yeah..
We have a 10 foot tall giraffe in the bank, and kids riding a hoverboard.. Yep.. before you even ask.. its that kind of circus.

 

I need to stop in there some time.

 

YES you do!! I would love to show you around!

 

Maybe next week and then we can grab lunch.

Opening scene: A small rural bank in the middle of Kansas--


SO the two met for their clandestined meeting- with their Fords cooling in the parking lotand the birds whispering in the air- They approached the tellers in the bank lobby and said the appropriate greetings of the day- all the while being watched by the giant giraffe who couldn't keep its cold eyes off them-- somehow the giraffe knew what was to come--- They climbed onto their matching hoverboards to the break room where they hd several drinks.. The Curtis said-- "So- you wanna get a tan?" Del looked at him and said in a shakey voice-- "but I have never done anything like that before"-- Curtis replied in a huskey voice- "its easy I'll walk you through it- we won't do anything you don't want to"
