I've wizzed on one car door more times than I care to think about. If the weather got even near the freezing temperature the door locks would freeze, every time. And if nothing was handy, it was a good alternative, and it was almost always in supply

Good morning gents. Going to put some more bolts in Bullit and change a belt on the lawn mower and mow today.

Rich, I'm guessing you have a zero turn at work up there, what brand is it and do you like it etc?

Encore Z48 with a Briggs and Stratton 18 horse, good mower overall, but not big enough for me. To much grass, not enough deck.

I am working them towards getting a BIG John Deere Z930M 60" cut. Probably not till next spring?

Now I want a zero turn for the house!

I know, I'm looking for one!

How fast is it and I'm guessing it is commercial, and has a welded deck. How reliable is it?

Afternoon everyone!

It's been a hell of a day so far, but I finally got the inside of the bed and tail gate painted on the GMC. Halfway through putting the last coat of clear in the bed, the pattern adjuster on my spray gun shot out like a bullet. I still have no idea where it went. I heard it hit the ceiling in the shop, but after moving everything around and even climbing on top of the bathroom and looking around, I can't find it. I remembered RC gave me a few guns that I left at the house, so I raced home to get them. It was dark in the garage and I ended up stepping in a pan of waste oil, flinging it everywhere. After cleaning my shoes and changing my britches, I raced back to the shop. One of the fan controls fit my gun, so I was able to keep shooting. .....of course by that time, the half a coat I put on there was dry and I had to reapply the last coat of clear. I had to work way to hard to get that bed shot. I hope the rest of truck goes smoother. I don't have that much more to do, thankfully.

Yes welded deck, no stamped light weight beer can POS. It can out run the tripple deck blades cutting ability...Has been used for years without a lick of maint.

Now that I have welded/made repairs on and pretty much rebuilt the deck..new spindles ext...and now it knows what a grease gun is, it is cutting grass like a mountain goat on crack.

What a day! I found out I completely missed a few spots in the bed, so I have to reshoot the dang bed. .....then I decided to work on the Rambler. I didn't get very far with the D/A before I blew the head gasket in the air compressor. HECK WITH IT!!!!! I shut the shop up and went home.

sounds like a long day for you alan....
but i on the other hand had a fairly good day.. i got the flat-bump in the shop and started on the work i need to do.. i took the front cap off..really hard to do alone those hoods are awkward to handle by yourself.. but got it apart ..then pulled the plugs they were old and crusty but all cyl. burning great and dry.. then did a compression check..all good there 160-170 even with a low battery.. measured the stroke and was VERY HAPPY!!!! to find it is a 390 instead of a 360 ....
i got my parts all in and the JR headers look great..thick flanges and large tubes.. so i was happy with them ..so far.. played with a few other things then came home..
i wanted to get the old exhaust manifolds off but they wouldnt budge with just PB blaster and light tapping.. so will have to go to town and get a full bottle of oxygen so i can heat em up a bit
