Without the rolled edges and inside doubler bezel/pinch welds to stiffen it I'd be concerned the corner windows might pop out while driving, and will make finishing the inside a challenge. When something like this isn't seen much/ever and this one isn't finished there may be a good reason.

How soon do you expect to put it on the road? Doesn't need good springs or tires to just sit/roll around the shop on. You might want to read my making a build plan post here:https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...1955-f250.html since I'm reading diametrically opposed build ideas and putting the cart before the horse build order? Are you really building it for him or for yourself? Like you said he doesn't look too thrilled by the idea.
