Help on a F650?
Hello,
Im new to the group. Im hoping I can get some info on a F650 im looking at. I am looking at getting a 1972 330cu gas f650. From what I understand it was originally a f600 and converted it to a f650. Im waiting to get all the info on it yet but anyone know what to watch for on them? Like I said Im not sure if I will get much help with how old it is but any info would help!
Thanks in advance!

No such thing as an f 600 converted to an f650. The 650 is a later heavier more modern truck. What are you going to do with this truck? You need the vin and data/warranty plate info to see what it was as oem. With a 330 you're looking at topping out at about 60 mph maybe a tic higher. Empty. Slow with a load
. Again there is no such thing as a conversion like that.

My plan is if I can get it for a good price. I was planning on engine swapping it to a diesel. Either a cat, international, or a cummins. Then doing a front axle swap for possibly 4x4. I would like to put a 5th wheel in the back. I wanna use it for a side job just to pull boats in and out of the water and deliver them to the destination.

Yes for everything except the foundry and machine shop (working on that one currently) ive seen them around that price but none have good bodies and drives like this one. From what the pictures show atleast. Its 2 hours north of me. Im just trying to get some insight on them before continuing my progress with it
