SHACKLES NO LONGER AVAILABLE. SOLD. THANK YOU. For sale is a set of Velvet-RideŽ leaf spring hanger shackles. If you're familiar with these, you'll know that they are very hard to come by because they are discontinued and no longer produced or sold. Similar sets average 400 dollars new, but these are the real thing.. for under half the price.

These shackles will drastically improve the ride quality of your truck, hence the name "Velvet-Ride".

Included in the kit are 2 (two) shackles, and 4 (four) connecting arms. Also included are the installation instructions. You will have to supply your own bolts, nuts and washers.. but the instructions tell you what kind you need and where they go. It is just simple hardware you need.

The shackles measure 3 inches in width. Therefore, if your leaf springs are 3" wide, these shackles will fit in your hangers. (92-96 F150 4WD, 92-97 F250 4WD, 92-97 F350 4WD). These shackles will probably fit some older trucks as well, provided your leaf springs are 3 inches wide. I bought these from a friend for my 1994 F250, I just don't have the time to put them on anymore. Perhaps someone else can enjoy them. They are pretty rare, after all.

Are your rear leaf springs 3 inches wide? Also, does your hanger/shackle setup resemble the picture I took of the arrangement on the instructions? I'm pretty sure they would fit if your leaves are 3 inches wide though. Let me know

 

Yes, they are 3" Wide, and the mount looks like the pick you had I think. So these were the same for F-150 through F-350. I don't see how to post a pic (that I just took) with my free membership. You could always email me, I'll send you a PM (Once I figure that out). But I'm Interested in them.

That looks exactly like my trucks' shackle/hanger setup. These should fit your truck. Like I said you'll have to source some new bolts, but it would be a good opportunity to buy some new grade 8 hardware anyway. If you're interested, email me at Logster191@gmail.com. thanks
