360-390 water pump swap??
I'm having trouble finding a polished aluminum water pump for my 360 motor. So will a water pump for a 390 work? Sales person says yes. But I just was not sure.

Yes it will.


A quick way to determine if parts swap among different displacements of the same engine family is to compare the applications using an alternate source of information.

According to Rockauto they use the same pumps.

The pumps should be the same from 1965-76. Before that, most Fords used generators which required different threads, etc.
