An expensive solution:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221850293381?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Listed for some time now. I can't imagine why they haven't flown off the shelf! :-)

Steve

Or...one half of a less expensive, and slightly less optimal, solution:

Yeah, I thought about emailing the guy about the 71410s to tell him no M-H ever made used them. And to suggest he's optimistic on his price. But thought better of it. Stu

But, it says it right on the Internet... so it must be true...

That's why they cost so much. They're the only ones EVER.

I had the same dilemma trying to find rims for my 1950 M-68. Finally found the solution today. There is a place in Saskatoon that can install the old centers into tubeless rims same as Stockton is doing in California. Just dropped mine off today a little pricey at $ 320 a wheel but at least split rims are gone and I can still use original hubcaps. The place is Saskatoon wheel works talk to dave.

Does anyone have a source for 2 of the Budd #73240 wheels. I have purchased a 1950 Ford F3 and i have gotten 2 of them for the rears but i am still looking for another 2 for the front to keep the stock look.

Boy, harder than I thought. Three guys I thought would have them, don't. And a dealer I figured would have them, doesn't. One friend has one, but he says it has a wobble and would only recommend it as a spare. If you want contact info please say. Stu

I am starting on my 49 F-3 (14" rear drum) and want to replace my widowmaker wheels. I don't care about hubcap issues. If anyone knows of a source of 71410 wheels please let me know.
Thanks
Dave

The 71410s do accept stock hub caps. I think I know of an available set, and will text my friend Mark to have him check in to comment. Stu

Mark told me his set might be sold. If not he'll comment here. Stu
