Our new 78 Bronco!

Been looking for a while... some were gone to fast, others,,, well, there is is a reason they weren't! 351M, NP435, NP205, 3.50's in axles,,, the 4 speed was what I was really wanting in it also!

Thanks All! Hoping to start going thru it soon, engine, brakes, interior,,, carpet out, rubber or roll-on to replace it. It does start, PO took fuel tank out for some reason, hooked up fuel line to jug, primed carb, runs, needs obvious carb rebuild and vacuum leaks fixed, but all in time, hopefully before hunting season

Where would I find color and axle info?

H2K = 3.50 without limited slip with power steering
Trans code A = NP435 4 spd
Color BV = B - dark jade metallic and V - silver metallic (TuTone). Best guess here as I can't find the code together (ie BV) but only as separate codes (B) and (v) and it looks to match the colors of your pics
Body Code FR1 = Is one of the Ranger XLT packages just not sure which one (obviously a XLT Ranger pkg )
DSO 72 = San Jose (where it was ordered)

Nice score, that looks very solid AND a NP435 4-speed will serve you well...maybe it's just the pics BUT I like the patina look!!

Thanks guys, I have really come to love the "patina" on my trucks, just so much easier to care for,,, I do nothing to it! It really started with Mater my 63, and Shrek my 66, and well Woody my 79,,, Got to get rear brakes and bearings done on my 77 F250 4x4, Maximus, so he's ready for wood cutting and hunting, THEN I will pull the Hulk in (not sure if that is final name yet,,,) and start going thru him,,,

Hmmm sounds like you're too busy for the Hulk. How about I take him off of your hands to free up some time

The more I look at your Bronco the more I fall in love with the paint scheme. When I get my 78/79 that's how I'll paint it.

Mind sharing how much you spent to acquire it?

Hahaha....NOT! 8 trucks and counting,,, dang, how'd that happen? I DO have a 79 Scab 4x4, D60's for sale now that I brought the Bronco home
I paid 3k for it,,, it had what I wanted,,, 4 speed, bench seat, and AC. Now I'll dump another 2k into it probably,,, but then it will be comfy and dependable!
