Bronco fuel tank in f250
Hi all I am looking at putting a Bronco fuel tank to replace my Rear tank in my 1990 f250 with a 7.5l v8 in it. i am wondering if the 7.5 fuel pump will fit into the 5.8 tank or if the 5.8 fuel pump will supply enough fuel for my engine? Thanks in advance for all of your answers!

It would appear that the 7.5L and the 5.8l both share the same fuel pumps, in 1990 at least.
Go to rock auto, look up a 1990 f250, and look between the 2 engines. Same parts.
I haven't been able to find specific lph ratings for them, but I do believe pretty much all v8 efi Fords used a 88lph pump stock back then.
This isn't to say the Bronco uses the same part as the truck, but i'm pretty sure it's the same flow no matter the engine size.

The in-tank mounted high pressure fuel pump is capable of supplying 105 liters (27.7 gallons) of fuel per hour at a working pressure of 270.0 kPa (39 psi) for the 5.0L, 5.8L and 7.5L EFI engines. The pump can supply 90 liters (23.7 gallons) per hour at 380 kPa (55 psi) for the 4.9L EFI engine. The pump has an internal pressure relief valve to provide overpressure protection in the event the fuel flow becomes restricted. Overpressure is restricted to 850 kPa (123 psi) and reduced fuel flow will result. The system pressure is controlled by a pressure regulator on the engine.
The reason why the Lph rating is less for the 4.9L engine is it runs a higher fuel pressure. The pump is exactly the same as the V8s.
