rich that would be good if ya could bring the axles.. i am not sure about wheels and tires that hold air might wanna toss in in just in case.. the truck has front tires already.. i will collect the other parts like fenders hood grille and toss em in the back just in case ya could use them too.. alan has already been picking parts offa that truck so i dont think there is much good left on it.. weather ya wanna keep it on just haul it to the scrapper and get some cash for all the help you have given me..thats up to you

 

i have the set of 33" 12.50 tires and 10" chrome wheels off ole rip i will toss in it too..maybe you could get some use outta them too

Evening All!

It's been a busy day. I got a bunch of house work done before I left for the shop this morning. I got the punch list on the Scab cut down quite a bit. The steering wheel is now straight, the trans leak is fixed. (it was just a hole rubbed in the cooler line) I re-jetted the carburetor and fixed the fuel gauge. It runs REALLY nice, now.

I also got the Chevy with the rotted quarters primed, blocked and painted. It turned out pretty nice. That should go back on Thursday after a color sand and buff.

I also got the Blue Ford in the bay and ready to pull the engine. The new engine showed up on Saturday.

good morning missouri.... sounds like ya had a good day yesterday alan.. my day was not very productive.. the kids called and i guess the KIA broke down when they were leaving indepenence.. i hope they can get it going without me having to go up there.. but i wouldnt bet on that..

 

i am thinking about going to sparta today.. you are going to be there right alan? i need to finish up the 700r4 build..and would like to maybe see about doing something with "ole rip" thought maybe pull the radiator and see if i can fix it... or... i also found a 49 chevy radiator that looks like it may fit and have the right outlets..

had a offer from a guy on the "magic bus" he fell in love with it after i took him for a short ride yesterday...he is wanting to trade a supposedly original 70 LS6 chevelle.. just like the new car i had after high school.. seen em go on barrett jackson for big bucks.. wants me to go look at it friday.....dont really want to sell the bus... but if i can see a big profit i have to check it out

 

RC. Yeah, I need to get my butt to the shop. I have that engine swap to do. The main shop will have an empty bay if you want to work on "Rip".

 

Howdy all, Monkeyturd went home last night and is ready to come back for the one system I haven't worked on...electrical.

 

I am busy and just working along on all kinds of none Ford truck things.

RC I will take all the 73-79 stuff have you have, tell Alan to stay off my new parts truck...lol Jk I hope there is wiring and such, I flip a lot of small stuff to other FTE folks.

Does that 76 have a title? Ed and I will be down this sat (8th) if it is raining here, I am not paving streets in the rain.

Rich. Yes, my truck has a title in my name, but now I have to file for a duplicate because my sister-in-law filled out the back of it. I just have to go get it.

 

Opps Alan, I was asking about the title on 76 that I am getting from RC for bringing down his new 72.

 

Evening everyone. Absolutely crappy day at work today - half a dozen tasks that need to be finished and I just spent the day spinning my wheels.

At least the truck is running smooth now. I probably just jinxed myself...
