its the heat insulation that surrounds your engine... do you ever look under your hood??


was working around the exhaust to fix the leak..

I try and avoid looking under there...LOL

I just drive it and fix as needed

Did you find the leak at least?

yup... truck blew the up pipe partly off the turbo...

nope... not done yet... maybe tomorrow... gotta finish putting my fuel pressure gauge in.. now i gotta fix the tranny temp sensor cuz when i was searching for the bolt i dropped down the back side of the engine the wires for it caught my arm and ripped the connector off.. boooo...

also need to get in the brake fixed... and finish off my fuel return mod..

You need to stop breaking things just to have something to fix...LOL

didnt want to have to fix that... was hoping to eventually replace it... but now ill have to fix it..

The labor would be free. I don't know about the kit.

Worked at a VW dealership after the service. Parts guy had every part number and the price for each. Buying the parts to build yourself was 1 1/2 times the price of the finished product.
