I know how that feels Tim. Biggest thing I am doing is waiting for my lock to get finished for my one musket. Off having it worked on. Biggest thing it is getting doen is being re hardened.
apparently not allowed to just pull the battery's and take them up there.. they want to test them on the truck while connected to see if theyre really bad.. also because the service center was the one to do it theyre the ones that have to claim the warranty.
They apparently have some fancy battery charger/tester that will check the batterys condition.. if they fail then they get a code to turn in with the warranty.
they said both were bad.. also found out my alt wasnt putting out either.. was only putting out 40 amps. when its supposed to be 140 amp alt.. theyre not sure if the batts went first and killed the alt or if the alt died first and killed the batts.. either way since the batts were bad they got replaced under fords warranty and paid the tow.. the alt the warranty i bought with the truck paid 500 something of the 600 something bill.. so now i gotta paid 100 something.
