Yes, 2 wheel drive... I forget what the body is called...
2 full size doors, 2 mini doors and a 8 foot 2 inch bed...
3.73 gears and stock size tires.
it helps I keep it under 70...
it was hard to Find a 2 wheel drive F-250... for Me anyway.

I momentarily felt a little inferior too, until I looked over again and realized that my wife is Soooo much better looking than his wife/girlfriend.

There's a guy a few blocks away with a new, lifted, F-250, 6.7L diesel who kinda smirked at me when we were both at a traffic light a while back ...

The Dodge guys with their diesels seem to like to show off around me, I'll laugh when the Dodge truck falls apart around them...
So far all the Super Duty guys around with diesels are really cool and almost always wave..
As for the motor I love it.....Had three 5.4's in F150's and one 5.4 in a F250 CCLB, I'll take the 6.2 hands down all day every day..

Great engine. I had a 2012 and traded it for a 2015. I bought the 2012 new with the idea of "let's see if this engine makes me want a diesel again...if so, the next truck will have a diesel." Nope, my new 2015 is another 6.2L. Very quiet, smooth operating engine. Cheap maintenance. MPG is not great, nor will it be in a behemoth truck like these. I'd recommend it.

+1 to the 6.2 as well. I have a 2011 f350 6.2 and i've had a few minor issues but nothing that killed the truck. I'd rather get there slower than have tons of power and break down before I get there. That and I don't work a truck hard enough to justify the 6.7. Only complaint I'd make is the hard shift between 2nd to 3rd while tranny is still cold.

Since the trans is the same gas or diesel, you'd have that issue either way. Did you try any of the transmission software updates - or I should say, do you have the latest software update for the trans? Supposedly these improved that issue. Never had the problem with my '12.

I bought my truck with 2 miles on it, I got it home with 22. I now have 32,000 miles on my truck and I am very happy with it.
I tow with mine regularly over 10k, and its also my daily driver. I see about 12 avg and 13-14 highway.
The only complaint I have is sometimes I have an annoying ticking when I start it sometimes that goes away in a few seconds. Its been like that since I got it. Its still under warranty so Im not too put off by it but I will be trading it in once the warranty is up.

I get that also...some what normal on this type engine..not just Ford... from what I read, it is the lifter clearance until they get pumped up with oil.

Thats what the dealer told Me, and a few other Ford techs... It puts me at ease seeing these trucks at almost 200,000 miles already!
