I ran the honey badger for a short time. I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. Big ol' POS. I put an adrenaline on after it, NIGHT and DAY difference.

Just an FYI, the stock OBS pump is a 15* pump. The stock SD pump is a 17* pump. The T500 is a modified 17* pump that packs a bigger punch than the stock SD pump.

My T500 fed my Rosewood 160/30's (stage 1.5) just fine. Never had a single issue, even on the 140hp setting on my TS chip.

I honestly cannot remember anybody that I've ever talked to that wasn't fully pleased with their Adrenaline.
IMO just make sure you really need that kind of volume.

Think I could benefit? I can set a 1211 at will in any bigger tune?

Mostly the ol t-500 is good...just thinking that may be better without the cha ching of duals...

I hear what you are saying Jim. I technically shouldn't need one with just stage ones, but towing 17k in my 140 tune put too much of a demand on the T500. Adrenaline keeps up fine. I don't care whatsoever if my oil breaks down faster. I run shaeffers oil, and if I'm lucky put 3k on it in a year, and it gets changed every year. Even if I did drive more, and the oil broke down faster, I'd just change it more often. That doesn't bother me at all, as long as I keep that 1211 away I'm happy.

Aaron, I'm sure the adrenaline would help you some, but you got some pretty big injectors there... That's what happens when you go big. Everything else has to be big to support them!

Did I hear 1211? That's right, I used to get them with the T500 and HBJ. After the adrenaline, none and also no more bucking. That is until I had a melt down

So it sounds like the Adrenaline might be a better bet than a Terminator? I will only be running Stage 1s, but?

Ahhhh the ol t-500 is hanging in there. The diesel site info says the adrenaline is good to 200cc stix. It may not be enough anyway..

I might give them a call Monday and discuss the application and my extra core towards the purchase. Im thinking before live tuning it may be a good idea..

Yep, sounds familiar, except for the meltdown part, thankfully. My experiences are: T500 did real good, just wouldn't keep up in the 100 or 140 tune towing, would set the ol' 1211. HBJ, well I set a 1211 at will, with no trailer on, even after being sent in twice to be "upgraded" once and tested once and told it was fine both times. Had bucking at the top of hills with the T500 too, but I've came to the conclusion that was the res running dry. With the riffraff res addition that problem is gone too.

It seems there would be a chart of some sort…

T500 good for up to 250 hp
HB Jr good for up to 350
Adreneline good for up to 400

etc...

Leo, if there was a chart my guess would be:

HBJ good for 250 hp
T500 good for 350 hp
Adrenaline good for up to 500 hp

I'm going to sell my HBJ on ebay one of these months.

That's helpful! My long term plan is about 400 so a T500 may be the right choice.
