I took it to a body shop today and low and behold the best advice was........a new body! That is a great idea because I can get something in the 90's and pick the window style I want. Maybe even something with power windows and locks. They said it really is not that difficult to do. This makes the most sense becauseI wont need to repaint this crazy tape job. I need to find out what the major changes were after 1991, maybe that can be made to fit also.

 

Lately I'm way more active on the Facebook pages than here... and I always whip out these pics when someone mentions doing a roof.

The changes were major after 91, and although the basic look stayed the same after that, there were alot of changes after 91.

 

A new body? Yup,that sure as heck will take care of the roof problem! You will have a nice rig when your done! Go for it! Gary
