V10 feels like it is stammering/stuttering
Good morning,
I own a 2005 F250 3V-V10/6-speed manual. When under load and accelerating, I can feel a very slight stutter/stammer in the engine. It is faint, but I can tell it isn't right.
I've owned the truck for over a year now and put ~20,000 miles on it. Wondering if I need to change the plugs/wires?
I put a fuel system cleaner in it yesterday just to see if that clears it up.
Has anyone experienced this kind of situation before?
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you,
I'll swing by NAPA or O'Reilly today and have them scan the truck.
Cheers!

So I took it to my mechanic (Lake Arbor Automotive) and they discovered that the plugs had backed out and loosened on some of the cylinders.
Apparently, the mechanic that had serviced the spark plugs the first time around hadn't waited for the truck to cool down completely before removing the plugs and the threads were a little buggered up. They chased the threads and everything went back together well.
Runs like a top now, and I get an extra 1mpg.........it must have needed a tune up pretty bad.

Never expected that.
Pleased to see that the problem was corrected without any big issues.
Thanks for the update.
