I read that article yesterday. The cynic in me wonders if its a ploy to convince me to increase my coverage.

I kinda had a feeling this was coming. They are running out of reasonably priced restorable classic cars, so it makes sense the trucks are next.

Hagerty seems like a good enough insurer but it's clear to me from their newsletters that their only interest is in cars as investments. We all know how that works out...

Stuff like this always seems to be contrived (my take on Joe's point). A limited amount of data is broadly extrapolated without regard to reasonable - and true - balancing data. Said differently, they create a 'trend' by reporting on a trend that only they see.
