Get the cool Ford bed extender. Since I could not find a long bed supercab F-150 in 2012, I bought the 6.5 bed and a bed extender. Makes it almost like a 8-foot bed when hauling stuff.

I'd like to have a set of those 17" steelies as well. I have my 18" chrome clad rims I will use for winter so I don't screw up my new Fuel wheels but I need to find a decent set of used tires for the stock wheels, or those 17" with tires already on them

Agreed on his truck is beautiful, but then I have a thing for red/black. And the chrome on my '14 looks like a flea market special (black "billet-look" with body color surround on wish list).
If the strip above bumper is paintable, is his surround also?

Cheap cosmetic mod, get a scrub pad and some black exhaust paint. Paint the exhaust. Surprisingly, it does clean up the look.

Can't paint the surround because there's no break point it's all one piece I'd never get a decent tape line it would look horrible. I would need a 2 piece one

looks great!

if you can paint the mirror caps, you should be able to paint the "chin" under the grille and fenders. to me, that is the biggest "eyesore" on the XL trucks.

i'd still take those hubcaps off your hands

even on black trucks it still doesn't look good. we've got one at work and IMO, it looks worse because it gets the argent bumpers. then when that plastic fades, it starts to look bad.

i'll get you a pic if you want

Very nice!

looks like you did a good job and the paint matches pretty well. aside from the slight difference in the grille, it looks like an FX. If you were to put the FX stickers and badge on it, i doubt all but the most observant would be able to tell from the outside

nice job!
