Ignition control module ?

Where is the igniton control module located at on a 1987 ford ranger with a 2.9L?

All help would be appreciated.

Ignition control module ?

Is your Ranger fuel injected or Carbed? I assume it's EFI?

Look at your distributor. You should have a rectangular looking module with a wiring block going into it. Should have 6-8 wires going into it. That would be it.
