any idea what my 2000 7.3 is worth

I am not sure this is the proper forum to ask and if not I apologize but I was hoping for some advice. I have a 2000 F250 extended cab 4X4 that is mint condition. It has a 7.3 with 35,000 original miles. Never wrecked, always garaged and was only used to pull a 30 ft travel trailer to nearby destinations. Unfortunately, we had to sell the camper and now no longer need the truck. Over the years, I have had people make offers for the truck and they think that because its now a 15 year old truck its not worth that much. Perhaps I am wrong, but I believe that its worth more than I have been offered in the past. I have not yet advertised the vehicle and would appreciate any advice from you experts as to what range to price it or where to go to get a honest opinion as to what its worth. Thank you!

I tried to buy a car off a lady once, she had a strong emotional attachment to the car. She refused my offer that I felt was even too much for the car but I needed a new car pretty bad at the time. About 2 hours later she emailed me and said she would accept my offer but I had already bought another car. Moral of the story is if you are truly wanting to sell it you can't be emotionally attached to it. Low mileage 15 year old truck is still a 15 year old truck. Things are going to be drying out that shouldn't. I can't give you a $ value as I don't follow 7.3's at all but just list it for what you think is a fair price since you've already had offers you felt were low and see what happens. Worst that can happen is you don't get any bites on it.

kelly blue book and Nada guide are good used truck market guides...again they are guides...

Could you get high retail for a truck like that....absolutely...if you find the right buyer....

Should you sell it for low trade in...I wouldn't!

Both of those are showing the $11,000 range... but based on the 7.3L premium most pay now adays...I would figure you could get the $12,000 to $15,000 most ask...
