That's a true classic, and to do it right, it needs a 12 string acoustic, and I'm looking for one that won't cost me an arm and a leg.

I think both Yamaha and Epiphone make one that is in-expensive. I'm not big on the sound of the Epi 6 string I have, but it was cheap!

The best guitar I have, I bought used and gave $250 for. It's an older Washburn D10-QSB. I did the set up on it myself. It has plenty of volume and almost play's itself.

Thanks for the input about the AC. I'll try to dig into this weekend if I get a chance.

So for the 12th we have Josh, Willie and Bob on the guitars. Who's bringing the bass and drum set? I'll bring a kazoo.

Well the morons at UPS have officially lost my new front tire for the motorcycle. It arrived at Greensboro, but was never scanned as departing. That was Tuesday morning so it should of been delivered yesterday, so I called and they can't tell me anything. Eventually I got a "investigation" started on it, but that could take 8 damn days. So I called motorcycle superstore to notify them of what happened and was told that if in 3 days it had not been located to call back and they would send me another one. I was really looking forward to getting a new tire on this weekend.

After having my in-expensive beater guitar listed for sale for months with no hits, I had an offer to trade for a nice 12 string, then one for cash, Yup I took the cash offer and had every intension of putting that aside for a nice 12 string.
Well now I'm debating on setting on it and start saving to get Ka'Bluey home, one more payment left

Guess the old ford got tired of not getting money spent on it like the other vehicles were.... so it ate a wheel bearing. Went from no noise at all, to over a inch of play and loads of vibration, all In 50 miles....

Put a new wheel bearing on my truck yesterday, and finished getting stuff ready got hunting season. Only thing left to do there is send a couple rounds down range to make sure the scope is still on.

Today we have tickets to the carteret county speedway, 4/10 a mile round track that's about 4 miles down the road from the house. Gates open at 3 for practice and qualifying, then racing starts at 7. Should be a pretty fun time!

Nothing going on around here, as usual, we're a pretty boring household.
I'm meeting a guy in Cary in 90 minutes to look at a 30 year old Washburn 12 string acoustic guitar, that I think I need. If I get it, then I'm off to find some new string for it.
Anytime I get another used guitar I have the same route that I go through. It comes apart, oil the fingerboard, clean and polish the entire body and neck, oil and tighten the tuners, then some fresh strings and then adjust for better action if needed.
See, pretty boring

I don't mind a little project from time to time. But every weekend for 5 months, that's a deal breaker.
That's how my last truck was getting, and fast. I do miss not having a car/truck payment. But it is nice not having to worry what's going to break or leak out a fluid next.

That's me, and I'm burnt out at the moment. I haven't done any vehicle work at all this weekend. Unless you count putting new bearings & seals in this old trailer that I'm going to start on next.
