Checking out trailer rentals today. Largest one that uhaul rents is a 6'x12'. I'm getting some quotes to have Ka'Bluey transported also. Not far away. Should be paid for the end of September

I'm finding that out Larry. The best estimate I've gotten so far is $850, and guarantee delivery within 5 day's of pick up, and $10k insurance.
I've gotten a couple of estimates from the tv show Shipping wars, they are the highest one's I've gotten so far, at almost $1300
I really don't have much desire to tow a vehicle that far

Hey I tell you what, one time many years ago my little brother gave me his Chevy S10 that had died, this was down in Louisiana where I am originally from. So I drove down there and hooked up a tow bar to the front bumper and towed it all the way back up here to NC, with a Dodge Caravan! That was a pretty sketch trip. The S10 was 4x4 and weighed a little more than the Caravan, which is not the preferred way to tow! But I took it slow and eventually made it back (ever drove 950 miles at 50-55mph???). Not long after, the tranny in the Caravan went out, so I didn't really save as much $ as I thought I did at first. lol. But hey that is where I got my 69 F100; got the S10 running and traded it for a 73 Wagoneer, fixed all the electrical problems in the Wagoneer and traded it for the 69 F100, which needed an engine. So in the end I got what I wanted.

Part of me says hurry up and get the truck ready to run.... the other says I'm already over half way threw the season and I plan on hunting not racing once deer season starts...
Think I'm just gonna start tinkering with it and get it ready for next year.

That's starting to sound like it would cost more than the $850 that I can gt it hauled here for. I'm a poor boy, it taking almost a year (10 months) to pay for the truck.

Thought about it for a minute. I know your truck can get up to 22, but towing a trailer it might not be that much. So I figured at 15, also used the national average gas price, and mileage of 970 one way. Fuel would be around 360$ to drive out there and back, as long as all my assumptions are right. you think you'd be able to pull 15 mpg towing Ka'bluey back? Thinking that might be kind of optimistic.

Josh, I'm leaning pulling Ka'Bluey here if I can rent a trailer for a decent amount. It would be the factor of fuel, trailer rental, a hotel stay one night each way, and food.

I feel like tow-bar pulling is easier than pulling on a trailer! Except you cannot back up, you have to plan ahead, always.
