You do realize a 460 zf5 is different than a 7.3 one, correct?

Its like a bomb went off in the shop. I did manage to get some stuff done though. The 460 zf5 and 60 are out and delivered.

Finally got the track bar bracket made up. Instead of welding right to the frame, I used the piece of the 05 frame and a piece of obs frame to make a plate that perfectly fit my fsd frame, using the massive bolts of the 05 450 steering box to hold it in place. The ballistic fab bracket was then welded to that. I also am thinking about adding a support piece that goes to the engine crossmember like the sd trac bar brackets have.

welded a thick steel bushing to the frame to fill the gap for the top front bolt of the steering box

No more ratchet straps holding the front end from flopping over, track bar is bolted in, and I have the steering hooked up for now. The sd box doesnt have splines like the obs. for now i drilled the splines out and slipped the steering shaft onto the gear box. the bolt keeps it from rotating. I would like to make the sd steering shaft work so its more then just the bolt keeping it from spinning.

Thanks guys. Yeah, i wasn't too fond of just welding that ballistic fab bracket to the frame. A few hours extra work, but if it needs to come off, its no big deal now. And it is easier to weld it up nice when it is sitting on a bench.

Since the front end isn't being held in by ratchet straps, I rolled her outside this weekend. First time she has been out since last fall. I got the bed off, to start working on the rear.

It is going to need an adjustable trac bar. axle is about an inch to far to the driver side, if you cant see it in the pics.

I just have 1 hole drilled on each side. I want to get the bed back on and make sure the axle looks center in the wheel well, and ill finish drilling and bolting.

s110 is wider than the d80 by a good amount. They should fill up the rear dually fenders nicely

With all the aluminium wheels on and shined up, it is going to look sharp.

I finally got a set of fender flares in. I was disappointing. I like the look, I like the fitment, but what was supposed to be a 2.5 inch flare, only adds an additional 1.5" or so of coverage. I appreciate the vendor working w me to get me just the fronts, instead of all 4 flares, I am not happy with how narrow they are though. I thought a 2.5" flare adds 2.5 inches of extra coverage, correct?

It is 2.5" total width, subtract an inch from where it overlaps the wheelwell and get screwed in place, and it is only 1.5" fender flare. It fits nice, i think it looks nice, but not wide enough. might end up on my f350. I am still open for suggestions on fender flares....

I don't think any of them have wider than these ones, that aren't cut out/ pocket flares anyways.

Can you use the ones you have to make a new mold that had the offset you want?
Then fiberglass and vacuum bag to make them. I know it sounds like a lot of work but once you have done it it's not so bad.

It does sound like a lot of work lol. I probably do have to make something custom though to get exactly what i want.

That's gonna be one hell of a truck Corey!

As for the flares, the pic shows the one on the driver side, which you said was out about an inch too far. Wonder how they will look and cover once you get the axle centered? If they would give enough coverage that you could live with, those would be nice. They do look like really nice flares and the fitment looks perfect!
