This video gives a good idea why we are so concerned about that oil standpipe.


I know some of the guys around here aren't fans of Bill at powerstrokehelp, but I've watched most of his 7.3 and 6.0 videos and I think he's got some pretty good info.

One guy pulled a melted standpipe out the top the oil cooler and ran it how far only god knows and that guy

You might get lucky if it drove 2.5 hr without complete catstropic fail but you might be setting yourself up for failure time will tell I guess
I hope you can save it

Might as we tear it apart

I'm sorry this sucks
