(deafening silence from Kenny.......)
OK OK. How 'bout:

'Skogmo'

sorta like 'Satchmo', not so Nordic sounding. Has a certain ring to it.
Adios,

My truck has only had one name... the first time I rolled out of my shop and my friends saw it, it has always been "The Beast". I guess it is fitting, seeing how the '52 F-1 is big, loud, and has a big white grill that looks like a set of teeth.
Ever since it has always stuck, but I don't mind

Sorry for the silence, purely unintentional.
I've been outside digging a hole for our sump pump pit. Had to go through 3 feet of solid shale digging by hand!
The mason comes tomorrow to pour the footings.

Cool names! I especially like "Norge"

Satchmo? I'm well known locally for pulling off a pretty decent Louie Armstrong on Kareoke night!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! **wipes eyes*** I love it!

All my cars end up with names. They just kinda pop into your head I guess. My Mustang is called Elvis (Memphis DSO), And the Panel has been called "The Hearse" , the icecream truck, Lady Luck, Drew (Cleveland engine). And will be getting a new moniker very SOON...as re-assembly is JUST around the corner, and once I drive it it will get another name...hopefully not "Oh Crap!".

Mine has been called 'Old Red.' I think 'The Tank' would fit as well. I am waiting for an official name until it is fixed up a bit more.

Angel, how about 'Grey Ghost'?

Hi Megan,

How about "Armstrong"? In reference to your other post saying it is "hard to steer".

My wife and kids name all our vehicles. We have Lil' Visa our minivan - where we got the funds from, there's Goldie our champagne colored burban, and when the 54 Panel came home my wife named it Boomer. I was looking for hot rod/muscle car and came home with a old truck so she said even if it doesn't look like a hot rod it's gonna sound like one- loud- I'll settle for a nice rumble. By the way my wife digs cool cars and trucks and racing.

Man, Kenny's in rare form today! Louis Armstrong karaoke??? "Armstrong" because it's hard to steer??!? Gosh, I'm gettin' goose bumps just readin' it! Are you sure you don't have a little radon leakin' up through that hole yer diggin' Ken-O?!

Angel - I kinda dig the Gray Ghost. That's kool. I usually like "Haunting" or sinister names like the Black Maria I mentioned earlier. Mabe that's why I haven't named my truck yet....there's nothing sinister about an F100! They're....so....perky!

Kenny,

You know, some things are just too good to pass up. After thinking it over, I don't think anybody would criticize you for 'storing' your 'custom cab' emblems (for, ahem, 'preservation purposes') and affixing the infamous 'coldspot' emblems in their place.

'"...Let's take ol' 'spot down to the store. Grab a handle and hop in.."

Got my vote.
Adios,
Brett

I am not sure "Grey Ghost" would be such a good name because I have a tendancy to be real loud, so everyone knows I am around. To be honest, I have real bad road rage I can't stand when people cut me off, so I honk, switch lanes, and cut them off .......I hate Colorado drivers.............

I thought Colorado actually had some curteous drivers. They will at least let you merge in front of them if you just signal. That's more than I can say for some other states that will remain un-named.
