You'll need engine perches for a 302 truck. Your trans mount will work for your C4 but you'll need to drill new holes in the frame to relocate it a bit. You'll need an auto steering column. Now would be the time to convert it to power steering and power disc brakes. You can get the parts from a dent donor. When you get the dent auto column get the linkage rod from column to C4. You can also get an auto rad from a dent (for the trans cooler lines). Best rad is one from an a/c truck.

Thanks Moe,
I have the perches I need but the power steering and disk brakes upgrade are going to put me over budget. It would be nice though. This isn't going to be a daily driver so a power booster and drums should suffice. Either way maybe I can upgrade those items later. Those trucks in my area are hard to find and if you do they're to nice to salvage.

There are a bunch of threads on that very subject in this forum. If you to to the top of the forums page, you'll see a box that says "Search forum", and you can type in crown vic front suspension, and probably pull those threads up.

Here is one of them:

There are all sorts of technical threads here, at the top of the forum, several on the crown vic suspension swap:

Broncohog:
Welcome to FTE!
The mustang roller motor's timing cover has no provision to mount a mechanical fuel pump as I recall. Plus the serp belt requires that engine to have a reverse rotation water pump. If keeping the serp, then go electric fuel pump and a pressure regulator set at about 6 PSI.

Ultra:
As I recall, the tubular GT40 intake only gave a few more Ponys over your 93 Cobra intake. That 93 Cobra intake was simply a cast version of the tubular GT40 one. And the Cobra one could be ported where as the metal tubular upper could not be. There used to be a company who would force an abrasive gel type material through intakes etc which "ported" them. Don't remember the name.

Aluminum spacer from template.

Fits great

Heavy wall pipe for added strength.

Didn't want to use the factory plate so I made my own.

Before aluminum spacers I used 1/2 thick washers to setup.

Another cardboard template for support bracket.
