been busy with work, family, projects that need to get out of the garage and on the road. I try and take my fishing gear with me when I travel to a place where I am put up for a few days, but haven't done much in the way of charters lately so been bound to the office. Its all excuses really, I just need to take the boy out and disappear for a day.

Micah, sounds like good advice given about parking the stick-truck for a while. My oldest broke her growth plate in her left ankle when she was younger. I tried teaching her how to drive my 4-spd Mustang, but her ankle says no way. Sometimes you have to listen to what your body is telling you. If it causes pain to drive the stick, stop driving the stick. You'll be much happier in the long run because of that decision.
Fishing? Who's talking about fishing? I want to go fishing. School is out by Friday, so Susi will be around the house to recover properly from her "Walking pneumonia" episode. That will give me time to go fishing at Lake Lowell. I might be able to bring home some catfish for dinner.
Now that the spring turkey season is over, I'll have to start planning a fall turkey hunt. Luckily, at the moment, most of my fall classes are online, so I might be able to get away with an extended weekend hunt, if that will work out for you, Micah.
