And I assume you're putting them back on with studs, and not bolts??

yup... neighbors going to mill .011" off.. said hes done .015 off but then he has to recess the valves a little to prevent interference with the pistons...

my biggest issue is sorting out what parts are from what year on my truck... build date doesnt help much with this truck.. nor does the vin.. Block was replaced at one point.. which isnt helping either... got a newer 6.0 style block with old 6.0 style heads sitting on it...
