Where did you hear that? I've done a lot of reading and have not found that. In fact, Page 351 in the official Ford owner's manual says:
"When putting air into your tires (such as at a gas station or in your garage),…"

Gorden, you need to work on your thread titles, and putting more description in your initial posts.

Are you asking IF the tires have nitrogen in then,
OR
asking if you CAN put nitrogen in them,
OR,
giving advice about how we should refil our tires?

I am so confused. However, there are many threads on the topic of nitrogen, it's benefits, drawbacks and value. I doubt that we'll find any new info in yet another thread.

If you look at your valve stem you will see that they are not the black plastic like they use to be ,that are a chrome look to notfy who put something in your tires that they are filled with nitrogen,at least mine says that and i have the new 15 lariat,my wife has the buick enclave and they have the same thing nitrogen

Do the valve caps say they have nitrogen in them? I have had several vehicles with chrome valve caps and none of them say boo about nitrogen. Nor was there nitrogen in the tires.

I think some dealers put the nitrogen in so they can add money to the price whether you want it or not .....that and things like pinstriping

Yep. Clearly the owner's manual expects air in the tires.

Around here, it seems like dealers who put Nitrogen in the tires use Green plastic valve caps.

Sir, I have a lot full of 2015 F150s and they all have cheap black plastic caps for regular air from the factory. There are plenty of threads about using Nitrogen, but unless you are doing some sort of competitive driving, it would pretty much be a waste. Think about it, regular air is 78% nitrogen anyway. So you're paying more for the last 22%.

AND... If you believe that the dealership is removing all the air and filling them with nitrogen, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. I'd bet they are just topping off with nitrogen and adding green caps.

In this case it is chrome caps that say Nitrogen, but is the same difference. As you said, the trucks come from the factory with air and some dealers add nitrogen and caps and jack the price up. What a rip-off.
