Need some feedback on Leveling Kits
Ok I have a 2012 F150 XLT. I want to level out the front of the truck and called my mechanic today about installing a level kit. He tells me the F150 will have suspension problems and blow through ball joints and axles every year if I install a 2.5" level kit. I think he is full of **** but would like some feedback on others that have one installed. Thanks

If you haven't, I would research forums to see if anyone has had this problem. Personally I've read that anything over 2.5" can do some damage but anything under your fine.
I have a 2" AutoSpring Kit on mine. It actually raises the front more than 2". I also added blocks to the back to keep a slight front-rake for towing/hauling. Depending on what you use your truck for, such as towing/hauling, you want to be careful of creating a rear-rake with too high of a front leveling kit. It will really affect how the truck hauls with weight on the rear. Hope this helps.

my 07 had a 3" for 114k I put on it with out a problem! now my 2010 had one for three days and I had problems till I dropped it off at 4 WP and removed it. I was told who ever installed it didn't take something off when installing it and screwed something up, that cost me 700 to fix. so I say be very carful and do the work your self or have a good shop do it not your local wheel works, thats if you do a 2.5 or bigger lift / level.

I believe the blocks I got with my 2" kit were 3" which replaced the stock rear blocks. Don't quote me on the 3". Look the kits up on ebay. They should explain which kits will leave you with a slight rake.

Ever so slightly. If I was going to tow I would do those Bilstien 5100's so I could make an adjustment. But honestly I will never tow; and at most I might have 300 lbs. of dog food in the back.
