Someone must have cancelled, because I just called and got 'the last site' also.

Hopefully I'll get to be there this year and not cancel myself like last year. Hope to see you guys this summer!

 

When I called Sunday afternoon it was full.

 

The family and I are stoked! Any updates on the events/happenings this year? Kinda bummed we don't have a drag strip anymore, oh well. We've always taken care of the local police for the escorts, maybe we can take care of them this year and get them to block off a couple streets lol..

 

We are going to try and make it. Just have to find a place to stay. It may end up being last minute as per usual

Is no one else brave enough to reserve a tent site?

 

I got away with staying in the tent last year - but never would have pulled it off before... I can't sleep in a puddle of sweat!!

If all the RV sites are really gone, we might be tenting again this year.

 

Let's hope for nice cool nighttime sleeping weather!

 

It does appear that the campsites are all booked. I would still call and keep checking as some may open up later. Events are being planned and we should have everything nailed down soon. It looks like a full day at the fairgrounds on Saturday with Dynos and Sled pulls and lots of other things through out the day. We will have some of the usaual things and probably some new things at the campground. Stay tuned for more information as things get firmed up.

 

Anywhere else close by that you guys use as overflow camping for RVs?

Never been to one of these (obviously! First year with Ex), thinking about coming down.

I figure all the RiffRaff stuff I've been ordering, he ought to have a THRONE or something setup for me LOL!

 

One of these years.......I will make it. This isn't the one though. I drew a trophy Elk tag, so my vacation is ratholed for that hunt. I will enjoy seeing all the stuff posted though!
