2015 F350 Headlight Mod
I have seen this done a few times so I am giving it a try. I have just opened up the headlights which is a painfully slow process. I will keep updating pictures on the progress of the lights as these are going to be one of a kind.
I seen online that you could put them in the oven, but thinking about it sometime I fall asleep while cooking pizza so no go.
I ended up using a heat gun and 2 butter knives to pop them open.
Hard process to start but once going they start opening right up.
Oh yes if you are going to try this, there is a little screw in the corner, was trying to open them up and finally realized there was a little screw.
SO when opening them, take your time!!!!
Once open remove all the little screws from the housing. once the main piece is removed. to take off the headlight section. be careful. I popped them off but cracked one and broke another clip. Ill figure out something to fix it but damn that could have went very bad if more than one broke.
Well that's the process on how to do it, and it took about 2 to 3 if its your first headlight.
Note: if using a heat gun, watch of for the melting of plastic if you get too close and could warp the headlight..
Some much sealant on these lights. they may have used a tube per headlight.

Ya, just waiting for one more part and then set them up properly and Ya seal them up. Soon as I get this last part I'll complete the job and show you the finished project. Just been a huge waiting game on parts. Everything on back order.
